New and old residents are invited urged to attend. Not only will you get some interesting information on the history of Laveen, but you will get tons of information on our growing community. Ideas to maintain & improve our neighborhoods will be presented along with a chance to meet community leaders and find out how to connect with people who have similar interests.

The Council is made up of Laveen based, non-profit, civic & cultural organizations, Schools and Churches. The Council sponsors three major fund-raisers each year, with one in November (the Turkey Trot 5K Run) and two in February (a Golf Tournament and the Laveen BBQ). Money from these events is put back into the community for many programs including: summer ball programs, individual youth scholarships, community events, art programs for schools, scouting, Laveen Library programs, along with aid to various youth groups.
