Laveen Cattlewomen
The Maricopa County Cattlewomen were established under the name "Laveen Cowbelles" in 1947 by a group of women whose families were in the cattle industry. They were a part of the Arizona State Cowbelles and also the American Cattlewomen. Their goal was, and still is, the promotion of beef and it's by-products.
The Group participates in events such as the Arizona National Livestock Show, Arizona State Fair, Arizona Pioneers, Ag-Days, and Ag in the Classroom.
Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month except June, July & August. Meetings are held either at members homes or at restaurants. Local Dues are $10 per year.
